Supported languages

Dropbox.com, all Dropbox mobile apps, and Dropbox desktop apps are available in these languages:

  • Chinese (both Simplified and Traditional)
  • Danish
  • Dutch
  • English (United States)
  • English (United Kingdom) - Web only
  • French
  • German
  • Indonesian
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Malay
  • Norwegian
  • Polish
  • Portuguese (Brazilian)
  • Russian
  • Spanish (both European and Latin American)
  • Swedish
  • Thai

You can manually set your language settings in the settings menu of the Dropbox
app you're using.

If you don't see your language yet, contact Dropbox Support and let us know which language you'd like to see.

Dropbox.com

  1. Sign in to dropbox.com.
  2. Click the avatar at the top of any page.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. On the Profile tab, go to the Preferences section.
  5. Under Language, click Change and select your language in the pop-up window.

Mac

  1. Click the Dropbox icon in the menu bar.
  2. Click the gear icon and select Preferences....
  3. Click the General tab.
  4. Select your preferred language from the Language menu.

Windows

  1. Click the Dropbox icon in the system tray.
  2. Click the gear icon and select Preferences....
  3. Click the General tab.
  4. Select your preferred language from the Language menu.

Linux

  1. Click the Dropbox icon in the system tray.
  2. Click the gear icon and select Preferences....
  3. Click the General tab.
  4. Select your preferred language from the Language menu.

Android

  1. Open your device settings by accessing Settings from your app tray.
  2. Scroll to Language & Input.
  3. Select Language.
  4. Choose your preferred language.

After changing your system language, restart your device. Once restarted, your system language and all of your applications should be in the language of your choice.
