How do I delete my account?

Delete a Dropbox Basic or Pro account

  • If you're a Dropbox Pro subscriber, first cancel your subscription.
  • If you have a Dropbox Basic account, or you have a Pro account and you've already canceled your subscription, use our account deletion tool to complete the cancellation process.

Delete a Dropbox for Business account

  • If you are a Dropbox for Business team member and you would like to delete your account, you'll need to contact your Dropbox for Business team admin.
  • Dropbox for Business team admins can delete the work accounts of team members as needed.
  • If you are a Dropbox for Business team admin, and you would like to delete your team account or downgrade, please contact us using the information on your Business account page and we'll take care of this for you. Please keep in mind that there's a 30-day refund policy if you're on an annual plan. If you do have an annual plan and your request is made within that time, we'll provide a full refund for your purchase.
