Welcome to Dropbox Business! This guide will walk you through eight simple steps to get the most out of your new account. Following these steps will help you stay organized, collaborate more easily, and keep your files safe.
1. Magically sync all your files
When you download the desktop application, Dropbox works like any other folder on your computer. Drag and drop (or right-click) files to move them into your Dropbox. They’ll automatically sync, and you’ll be able to access the latest versions from anywhere.

2. Access your files anytime, anywhere
Once your files are in Dropbox, you can access them anytime using our desktop and mobile apps, or by visiting dropbox.com. With the mobile app, you can access, edit, and approve important documents on the go. Dropbox Business customers have the added benefit of being able to switch between your work and personal accounts, while still keeping everything separate.

3. Add everything you need for work
Drag and drop the work files you use most frequently into your Dropbox. We suggest organizing your files based on who needs access, like by department, project, or client. Note that any file you save to a team folder (a folder with a building icon) or shared folder (a folder with a people icon) can be seen by everyone with access to that folder. If you’re working on something private, save it in your team member folder (a purple folder with a person icon).

4. Share easily with others
- Share files with my company: Add files to your team space, a central hub for content to keep all team members up to date with the latest versions of files.
- Invite people to edit my files: Create a shared folder to review and edit files with others, such as clients or contractors.
- Invite people to view my files: Skip the email attachments and generate a shared link, which will automatically update when the file is edited.
- Collect files from people: Set up a file request, where users can upload a file straight to your Dropbox.

5. Invite more team members
