How do I manage my Dropbox Business team’s shared links?

If you're the admin of a Dropbox Business team, you can control the shared links that team members create from Dropbox Business accounts. You can do this on an individual basis by removing a team member's shared link in three different ways.

Remove a shared link from the preview page

  1. Sign in to your Dropbox Business admin account.
  2. Click the shared link you'd like to remove.
  3. Click the (ellipsis) icon in the upper right corner.
  4. Click Remove link created by...
  5. In the pop-up window, click the Remove link button to confirm.

Remove a shared link from the Admin Console

  1. Sign in to your Dropbox Business admin account.
  2. Click on Members in the left sidebar, and click on the name of the member whose shared link you would like to remove.
  3. Under Recent activity, locate the shared link, and click Remove link.
  4. In the pop-up window, click the Remove link button to confirm.

Remove a shared link from the activity log

  1. Sign in to your Dropbox Business admin account.
  2. Click on Activity in the left sidebar, and find the shared link you would like to remove.
  3. Under the link creation entry, click Remove link.
  4. In the pop-up window, click the Remove link button to confirm.

Once you remove the shared link, the team member will receive an email notification informing them which link was removed, and the shared content will no longer accessible through that link.
