Dropbox and Lenovo 30 GB Offer

If you purchased an eligible Lenovo computer, you may be eligible for 30 GB of Dropbox space for one year. This promotional space is in addition to the 2 GB of space included with a free Dropbox Basic plan.

Redeeming the promotion

  1. Launch the First Run Experience (FRE) software on your Lenovo computer.
  2. Sign up for or sign in to your Dropbox account.
  3. Complete the Dropbox Get Started steps.

How do I check to see if I’ve redeemed the promotion?

  1. Sign in to dropbox.com.
  2. Click your avatar.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Plan.
  5. Under Earn more space, look for this promotion.

Next to the promotion, you’ll also see when your promotional space expires.

How long is this promotional space valid for?

The promotional 30 GB of space is free for 1 year. After the promotional period ends, the 2 GB space included in free Dropbox Basic remains.

If I purchased multiple promotion-eligible devices, can I redeem the same offer multiple times?

No, the promotion can only be redeemed once per Dropbox account on eligible Lenovo computers.

Can I claim the promotional space with my existing Dropbox account?

Yes, the promotion can be redeemed by users that sign up for a new Dropbox account or sign in to their existing Dropbox account on eligible Lenovo computers.

Can I transfer this promotional space to another Dropbox account?

No, the promotion isn't transferrable to another Dropbox account after it has been redeemed.

Can I redeem this promotion on a refurbished or used device?

No, the promotion can only be redeemed by the original buyer of the eligible Lenovo computer.

What happens when the promotional space expires?

When your promotional space expires, your Dropbox space returns to the default for your account. For example, if you have a Dropbox Basic account your space returns to 2 GB.

If you’re over your quota after the promotion expires, you can’t to save new files to your Dropbox account. To add space to your account, you can upgrade to Dropbox Plus.

If you're over your quota and choose not to upgrade, you can delete or move your files out of Dropbox to bring your account within your quota.  If you fail to do so within a reasonable time after notice to your email address, Dropbox reserves the right to suspend or delete your account.
