Our Marketing team sets product positioning and strategy, manages product launches, and gathers customer insights. We’re responsible for maximizing our products' potential, in order to delight our users and help Dropbox grow. We partner with teams across the company, including Product, Sales, and Engineering.

Role Description

Marketing Analytics uses data for decision-making, accountability, and alignment. They are responsible for the entire analytics lifecycle from partnering with marketers and designing the right campaigns and experiment every single day to consulting with executives and implementing findings and insights. Marketing Analytics Managers also understand the business at the executive level, connect the high level understanding to granular detail, are bias toward action, and use the most advanced analytical tools to bring data and insights into critical decisions at scale for a large marketing team.

You will take ownership of analytics projects and programs that generate and measure quality leads and pipeline for our enterprise sales team and channel marketers. You will partner with key stakeholders within Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to establish priorities and timelines and deliver on critical marketing analytics initiatives. You will work in close partnership with Marketing Operations, Data Science, and Data Engineering to guarantee quality data repositories, scalable data infrastructure, sophisticated data modeling, and trustworthy data governance.

Responsibilities:

  • Function as primary analytics partner for Global Sales and Channel Marketing
  • Own datasets, pipelines, and models to measure marketing performance and report to cross-functional partners, including leadership in Marketing, Sales, Finance, and more
  • Ensure your numbers are air-tight by performing individual quality control, checking with meaningful data owners, and cross-referencing findings against secondary sources
  • Surface analytical insights: dedicatedly investigate root causes of aberrant data, and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Lead design and implementation of experimentation to improve channel efficiency, drive growth, and inform marketing investment decisions

Requirements:

  • 4+ years experience in a quantitative discipline
  • Deep understanding and mastery of SQL
  • Data visualization and dashboarding expertise
  • Skillful communication of complex analyses to technical and non-technical partners
  • Experience working with large data sets to mine insights using statistical analysis
  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or similar Quantitative Field
