Our Marketing team sets product positioning and strategy, manages product launches, and gathers customer insights. We’re responsible for maximizing our products' potential, in order to delight our users and help Dropbox grow. We partner with teams across the company, including Product, Sales, and Engineering.

Role Description

Dropbox seeks an App Store Optimization (ASO) Manager to increase app downloads and Dropbox mobile user base. You will bring a firm understanding of levers that can be pulled to improve app store rankings and deep expertise in conversion rate optimization to increase app downloads. You’re an analytical marketer with a data-driven eye towards growth, and you’re up for any challenge because you have a track record of hitting ambitious targets. Your resourcefulness will enable you to execute on your optimizations and produce results even in the most ambiguous environments.

You’ll collaborate with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Analytics to help articulate product value while staying on-brand. Key aspects of this role include analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to continually see opportunities to increase the visibility of our app store product pages, and running experiments to improve metrics.

Responsibilities

  • You will conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to optimize app store marketing copy to increase rankings & installs
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and test app store marketing assets (including copy, image, video assets)
  • You will execute on A/B tests that are designed to grow traffic to app store product pages and ultimately increase mobile app installs
  • You will help lay the foundation for measuring, analyzing, and reporting on ASO campaign performance
  • You will partner with Paid Media, Product, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams to implement attribution and dashboards to tie ASO efforts to quantifiable results like user retention, and LTV
  • You will partner with SEO Lead to develop a comprehensive mobile strategy to grow Dropbox’s global mobile user base
  • You will stay on top of latest developments in mobile marketing as well as algorithm changes with iTunes and Google
  • You will lead the localization of our app store presence to enhance our global visibility and user experience

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as an ASO/SEO Specialist or similar role
  • Deep understanding of how Apple's and Google's algorithms work
  • Familiarity with ASO tools and software like (Sensor Tower, Splitmetrics, AppsFlyer, SensorTower, AppAnnie, StoreMaven).
  • Familiarity with SEO tools (Google Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, Brightedge, etc.)
  • Knowledge applying A/B Testing
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Comfortable collaborating with internal customers and external vendors
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration
  • BS or equivalent experience
