Our Marketing team sets product positioning and strategy, manages product launches, and gathers customer insights. We’re responsible for maximizing our products' potential, in order to delight our users and help Dropbox grow. We partner with teams across the company, including Product, Sales, and Engineering.


Role Description

Dropbox has over 500 million users worldwide, and the Lifecycle Marketing team builds email and notification programs to help these users find value throughout their journey. We’re looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Lead to manage the half of the team dedicated to programs for users who are ready to renew or upgrade to a paying plan. Utilize your expertise in email and notifications to build automated, scaled programs that guide these users through their options and have significant revenue impact for Dropbox. You’ll partner with growth analysts to build your team into an experimentation engine for both piloting new programs and optimizing existing ones, and help your team do their best work along the way.


  • Define our lifecycle marketing strategy for driving self-serve upgrades and renewals at scale from our existing Dropbox user base
  • Work with growth and marketing analytics teams to measure our initiatives and maintain performance of multi-million dollar revenue programs
  • Partner with user research, messaging, and growth product teams to ensure the creation of thoughtful user experiences across campaigns and in-product
  • Refine your team’s approach to research, road mapping, and testing programs to enable quicker learning and more successes
  • Influence Dropbox’s internal CRM roadmap and processes for the better as lead of a team of power users
  • Lead and expand a self-motivated team of growth email marketers to tackle new opportunities for expansion


  • 4 - 5 years of cross-channel CRM marketing (email, notification, in-product) for large user bases
  • 2+ years in a direct or dotted-line leadership role
  • AB testing or growth marketing savvy
  • Experience with using CRM tools to make automated, evergreen programs
  • Analytical thinker with experience with tools like Google Analytics or SQL databases
