Our Business Strategy & Operations team sets and drives key business initiatives across the company. We complement and support product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams across three critical areas: corporate and business unit strategy, business planning and sales operations, and business systems and tools development.

Role Description

As the Head of Growth & Engagement Analytics, you will be responsible for driving analytics, insights, and operations for our self-serve e-commerce business. This role is a broad leadership opportunity to drive insights on revenue drivers and trends and will bring together Analytics, Data Science, and Operations teams. You will collaborate with leaders in our Growth & Monetization organizations to define strategy, drive planning, and be the ongoing strategic advisor on trends and insights. Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand and measure the effectiveness of acquisition, monetization, and engagement motions, including freemium monetization.
  • Become trusted advisor to the Growth organization in order to influence prioritization and execution of high impact projects effecting customer experience and monetization.
  • Rationalize and define meaningful growth metrics and communicate results, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Develop and retain a high performing team focused on fostering a data-forward, growth attitude.
  • Nurture a culture of impact, discipline around critical metrics, rapid iteration, and clear, effective communication of insights.
  • Provide cross-functional leadership across Dropbox as a whole.

Requirements

  • 12-15 years of meaningful experience, including analytics leadership responsibility for large-scale, consumer-facing, e-commerce and/or SaaS web sites.
  • Strong intuition for identifying key e-commerce business drivers and aligning execution priorities to business drivers. 
  • Outstanding ability to communicate analytics-based insights to executive audiences. 
  • Proven ability to define, track, and communicate KPIs related to growth and engagement.
  • Deep knowledge of online experiment and testing techniques for optimizing results. 
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience recruiting, leading, and mentoring high performing teams, including managing next-level people managers. 
  • Ability to inspire colleagues, and build deep, trusted relationships with cross-functional leaders.
