Role description:

We’re looking for a world class Recruiter to join our APJ recruiting team. You will develop and implement recruiting strategies across the APJ region. You will partner with the international recruiting team who are responsible for building the team of future Dropboxers. You will own hiring targets, partner with the business organisation, and help us creatively evolve how we attract, hire and create an unforgettable experience for every candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • You will manage our recruiting strategies across Japan and Australia , building networks both internally and externally to attract top talent to Dropbox.  
  • Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation to understand their hiring objectives and develop recruiting strategies to hit goals
  • You will help drive process efficiencies to scale hiring
  • Create and execute unique and effective sourcing strategies and techniques to find and engage passive talent
  • Consistently generate a healthy pipeline of high quality candidates by driving initiatives like branding, events, sourcing, and referrals

Requirements:

  • You have a  proven track record of success recruiting for roles across business functions at all levels 
  • Proven strong influencing skills; ability to work in a collaborative and team-centric culture.
  • Demonstrated creativity and resourcefulness in solving problems throughout the recruiting process - from building pipeline to closing 
  • A strong sense of affinity with the rapid pace of a growing and dynamic company
  • Relentless drive to find and connect with the best talent
  • Ability to qualify a candidate and understand what each candidate brings to the table, as well as connect that candidate with the right opportunity at Dropbox
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 
  • Fluency in English and Japanese
