Role Description

Dropbox is rapidly expanding its product offerings to address the needs of a diverse set of users and companies, from independent creatives to small businesses to large enterprises. The Business Platform team is directly responsible for delivering enterprise-grade capabilities that allow Dropboxers to innovate on products, and go-to-market effectively. As the Senior PM for Business Platform, you will be responsible for building our core Experimentation/Segmentation platforms, to enable Dropbox to ship world-class, user-informed products and experiences. In this role, you will equip Dropbox with the ability to test & target new features at a massive scale (e.g. A/B testing tools, data science & analytics, web/mobile/desktop experimentation). In doing so, you will positively impact the way Dropbox evaluates, prioritizes and ships its full suite of products, to hundreds of millions of users.

Responsibilities

  • You will define the strategy and roadmap for an outstanding business platform capabilities that aligns and ladders into Dropbox’s mission and our immediate business goals
  • You will collaborate with designers, data scientists & engineers to ship new, impactful experimentation and segmentation tools that help Dropbox iterate faster and innovate better
  • You will build cross functional relationships across our entire organization with product, analytical and engineering teams in order to deliver complex projects that impact multiple teams
  • You will promote a strong experimentation and data-driven culture across Dropbox, contributing to training, documentation, and best-practices
  • You will evangelize for Experimentation across the company and up to senior executive levels

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, specialization in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics preferred or similar experience as a Software Engineer, Designer or startup Founder
  • 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Proven ability to effectively lead diverse cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environment
  • Passion to deeply understand customer needs and a strong motivation to tackle their problems
  • Ability to define long-term business strategy, and drive impact on short-term product goals (think big, act fast)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and use data to inform decisions
  • Experience in crafting and helping build scalable platforms preferred
