Role Description 

We are looking for a Financial Systems Process Analyst Intern to join an exciting and growing team of Oracle analysts at Dropbox. Oracle is our Financial systems that is used by Finance teams across the company for accounting, revenue recognition, materials procurement, payment to vendors etc.

In this role, you will familiarize yourself with Finance business processes at Dropbox and help us build playbooks, flowcharts, process flows etc. that can be consumed by various teams within Dropbox, as well as used for new resource on-boarding for knowledge sharing. This person will interact with cross functional team members across various technology platforms in order to understand and document the End-to-End financial transactions flow. This is a continuous internship for 40hours/week for a period of 3 months, with the possibility of extension through the school year. Interns will be provided with mentorship and feedback throughout their internship and may be considered for a full-time offer upon graduation pending business need and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Create playbooks for Finance business processes being used at Dropbox (transaction flows within tracks such as Order-to-cash, procure-to-pay etc.)
  • Work cross functionally across different technology platforms at Dropbox to understand and document the end-to-end transaction flows
  • Participate in process development and improvement discussions
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Requirements

  • Current Juniors pursuing their BS/BA. 
  • General Business degree with previous experience or coursework focused on Finance, Technology platforms, operations, etc.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Passion for technology and Dropbox!
  • General financial skills/knowledge, proficiency in Visio/flowchart tools will be a plus
