Software Engineer - Product

Engineering Team | San Francisco, CA

Dropbox is the home for your most important stuff—now we're bringing it to life with a growing family of products. As we scale our global brand, there’s plenty of space for you to grow alongside us and simplify life for millions of people around the world.

Our engineering team is architecting a family of products that handle over a billion files a day. We take on the complexities of technology that affect everyday life, so that people can get back to living and doing their best work.

Our success depends on our ability to deeply understand our customers and build great products that will elegantly fulfill their needs. Product Engineers are passionate and highly motivated to build incredible products at massive scale. They fit somewhere between traditional Software Engineers and Product Managers, and the best candidates can leverage strengths in both disciplines to create world-changing software.

Product Engineers work on our flagship product teams like Dropbox for Business, Carousel, or Mailbox. We rely on them to do a variety of cross-functional, full-stack work (“whatever it takes to get the product out”). We’re looking for people who can take ownership of features and deliver an outstanding level of craft and polish to our customers.

Join our Product Engineering team to help us improve the lives of millions of users. If the description below sounds like you, we'd love to learn more and find out if we can work together.
