Dropbox Business, the collaboration platform tailored for enterprises, now counts one of the world‘s leading retailers among its clients.

The Casino Group is a leader in the global food retail market, with more than 12,000 stores and over 220,000 employees around the world. Its most well-known brands include Monoprix, Leader Price, Spar, Naturalia, Franprix, and Cdiscount.

Deploying Dropbox Business is part of a broader strategy to modernize the Group’s IT. “The improved Dropbox experience on mobile phones and tablets is also a real benefit for our team members, who work every day on remote collaboration issues,” says David Garcia, Chief Information Security Officer, Casino Group.

The French retailer will start by deploying Dropbox Business for 1,000 employees, who are mainly based at its headquarters. It then plans to scale the deployment to other services or entities throughout the Casino Group.

“The way people work in the retail industry has radically changed, and that’s for the best. With large teams distributed across different markets, Groupe Casino understands that technology is essential to help employees address the growing challenges of remote work,” adds Franck Le Tendre, Managing Director, France & Director of the EMEA Industry Team at Dropbox.
