What's the Dropbox Space Race?

Space Race has ended

Any space earned through Space Race expired on March 4, 2015.

Thank you to everyone who participated.

The Dropbox Space Race was a chance for students, faculty, and staff at eligible universities to earn a ton of free Dropbox space—up to 25 GB per person for two years. All you needed to do was sign up for Space Race and get started using Dropbox, then rally others at your school to do the same. You were all in it together—the more your school participated, the more free space everyone received.

As part of your school's participation in Space Race, you received 3, 8, 15, or 25 GB of additional Dropbox space. The Space Race promotion period expired on March 4, 2015, at which point your Dropbox storage quota automatically returned to your pre-Space Race quota.
