How much free referral space can I earn?

If you have a Dropbox Basic account, you'll earn 500 MB of space for each friend you refer to Dropbox.

If you have a Dropbox Plus, Family, or Professional account, you'll earn 1 GB of space for each friend you refer to Dropbox.

In total, Dropbox Basic accounts can earn up to 16 GB through referrals. Dropbox Plus, Family, and Professional accounts can earn up to 32 GB through referrals.

To get started, simply invite your friends to Dropbox from the referrals page. Both you and your friend will receive bonus space if they do the following:

1. Accept your invitation to sign up for an account.
2. Install the Dropbox desktop app.
3. Sign in from the desktop app.
4. Verify their email address.
