To contact Dropbox support, go to dropbox.com/get_help. Once you log in, you’ll see your available support options based on your plan and account type.

Support hours and response times
- Email support:
- If you’re on Dropbox Plus, Family, Professional, Essentials, Standard, Advanced, Business, or Business Plus, you’ll receive an email response within one business day (Monday–Friday).
- If you’re on Dropbox Enterprise, you’ll receive an email response within one hour any day of the week.
- Live chat and phone support:
- If you’re on Dropbox Standard, Advanced, Business, or Business Plus, live chat and phone support are available during your local business hours (9:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday)†.
- If you’re on Dropbox Enterprise, live chat is available 24 hours a day from Monday to Friday, and phone support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week†.
- If you’re on Dropbox Plus, Family*, Professional, or Essentials, live chat is available during your local business hours (9:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday).

- Anyone can send a file to you, whether they have a Dropbox account or not.
- All files collected with a file request will take up space in your Dropbox account. To be sure you can accept the files you need, check how much space you have available. If there isn’t enough space for the files you want to request, recipients will receive an error when they try to upload.
- Dropbox Basic, Plus, and Family customers can request files up to 2 GB. For files larger than 2 GB, consider using a shared link.
- Customers on Dropbox Professional, Essentials, Business, Business Plus, Standard, Advanced, and Enterprise can accept files up to 250 GB in size.
Notes:
- If your team has the Dropbox Premium Support Add-On, you can access email, live chat, and phone support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- For Dropbox Enterprise customers who need support in Japanese, email support, live chat, and phone support are available 9:00am–5:00pm Japan Standard Time, Monday–Friday. You’ll receive an email response within one hour during those business hours.
If you need to contact support outside of these times, you can use the help center, community forums, and chatbot 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
