He leads a team of over 300 and is responsible for providing IT support for the 20,000 employees of one of the world’s leading travel companies. Chris has been with Expedia for 13 years and is based in the Expedia office in London. He has held several roles during his time at the company, spent timing living and working in the US, and has visited many of the 70 office locations around the world. Like most Expedians, he has a passion for travel and loves visiting new countries and experiencing different cultures with his family.

He is a passionate believer in the ability of good interface design to create exceptional value through user friendliness, appeal, and cross-platform engagement connecting businesses and customers.

He previously led Google Enterprise in the UK, Ireland and Benelux, and also spent several years at Dell and VMware. Earlier in his career, Mark helped build a startup called RealMapping, which was awarded the Broos van Erp prize as the most promising and innovative Dutch startup of the year in 2000. He holds three degrees, including a master’s in economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
