Verify your account email address

In order to use some features of Dropbox and post in our forums, the email address of your Dropbox account needs to be verified.

If you've ever clicked on a link in an email we've sent you, you're all set—your email address has already been verified. If your email address hasn't been verified yet, we'll send you a link via email the first time you take an action that requires verification. You can also do it right now:

Verify your email address

  1. Sign in to dropbox.com.
  2. Send verification email.
  3. Look for the verification email in your inbox and click the link in that email. A confirmation message will appear in your web browser.

Didn't get the email?

Check your spam folder to make sure it didn't end up there. You can also add the email address no-reply@dropbox.com to your address book and then try sending the email again.

If you're still not receiving the email, contact your email service provider to troubleshoot further.

What happens if I change the email address associated with my Dropbox account?

If you ever change the email address associated with your Dropbox account, you'll need to verify your new email the next time you do something like send a referral or a shared folder invitation.
