Team Description

Our Legal, Policy, Trust & Privacy teams help keep users and their stuff safe, protect Dropbox, counsel Dropboxers on challenging problems, and are always synced with the Dropbox teams they work with. We deal with novel issues every day while standing up for users and helping the company and product grow.

Role Description

As a commercial legal analyst, you’ll partner with teams across Dropbox including marketing, real estate, finance, sales, brand, and engineering. Under the supervision of our attorneys, you’ll negotiate important contracts, collaborate closely with our customers, partners, and suppliers, and help us build our legal infrastructure. 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with attorneys to draft, negotiate, and shepherd a variety of contracts such as sales, SaaS, licensing, distribution, commercial, real estate, infrastructure, and non-disclosure agreements
  • Engage with customers and partners to keep Dropbox running smoothly
  • Collaborate with attorneys and senior executives and manage business relationships with internal clients
  • Build and improve legal department processes

Requirements

  • At least 1 - 2 years of contracts review experience as a legal assistant, paralegal (or in a similar function)
  • Extraordinary attention to the right details 
  • Enthusiasm and passion to learn about technology, law, and business
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, hard-working, optimistic, and collaborative
  • Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • B.A./B.S. with excellent academic credentials
