Role Description

We’re looking for an experienced UX writer to help design and launch new Dropbox products and features. Joining our San Francisco-based design team, you’ll do content strategy and in-product writing for tools that help people do amazing work and share it with the world.

Apply if you have

  • 4+ years professional writing experience
  • At least 1 year of in-product writing experience (UI, notifications, errors, tooltips, etc.)
  • A portfolio of UX writing (please send with your application)
  • A knack for translating complex technical talk into people speak (we like humans)
  • A mind for end-to-end experiences and integrations
  • An ability to be both creative and consistent within a controlled vocabulary
  • Followed or created writing style guidelines
  • Experience partnering with designers, researchers, and product managers
  • Passion for punctuation and are partial to puns (affection for alliteration is optional)

Nice to haves

  • Experience working with remote teams, over VC and otherwise
  • Experience with information architecture and taxonomies
  • Experience conducting scrappy user research
  • Skilled at presenting work and communicating a point of view
