Role Description

In this role, you will lead a team of Product Analysts to use data to enable better decision-making for the Dropbox Enterprise organization. You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, marketing and research leadership to demonstrate data to guide both strategic and operational product decisions. You will be responsible for aligning key analytics projects for you and your team with product roadmaps and ensuring you communicate your insights broadly. Additionally, you will directly own and complete analytics landmarks for a selection of high-priority projects.

Responsibilities

  • You will drive improvements in user engagement and other key sets of indicators with Dropbox Enterprise using data-backed techniques
  • You will work to build a product metrics model for your area of the product and continue to refine it through analysis, experimentation and research partnership
  • You will ensure active collaboration between your team and product, engineering and design teams to measure the impact of product launches, including validating logging, defining success metrics, aligning on experimental approaches and communicating metrics impact
  • You will utilize data and analytics to actively pinpoint opportunity areas
  • You will partner cross functionally with other analytics teams, including our Sales and Customer Analytics teams, to establish a common quantitative perspective on how we understand our products
  • You will coach, mentor and help set strategy for Product Analysts to drive even more impact for the team

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience performing product analysis based on data in a tech company
  • 2+ years directly managing data scientists, quantitative researchers or product analysts
  • BS/BA in Math, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other quantitative field
  • Ability to analyze and use data to inform decisions
  • Proven ability to directly lead product analysts/data scientists and work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment
  • Consistent track record of driving directly measurable product or business impact
  • Deep understanding of and empathy for users
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
